The nature of social networking – having such a massive base of users who are unknown to you – means that using it carries a degree of risk including becoming a target for cyber-criminals.  

In this unit, you will improve your skills in Scratch and make new games. You will learn to make games like Snake, Space Invades and Pong. Your computing skills will be better after completing this unit.

Small Basic contains the concepts of some basic programming terms. The code here can be taken to new levels and can lead to ever more complex coding. Small Basic allows you for the first time to actual type in code and see instantly programs you have created.

A collection of different spreadsheets that teach advanced skills in Excel and work on some of the knowledge the students would have learnt in year 7. Each week is based around a different topic until at the end of the unit when a test is done to see what skills have been picked up.
