Making a Prezi Presentation

Topic One - Social Networking
Social networking is a global revolution, enabling around a billion people worldwide to stay in touch with their friends, share experiences and photographs and exchange personal content. In many ways it has replaced the telephone and email. For many users, it has become a way of life.
Topic Two - Safe searching online
The internet and other online resources offer a vast quantity of information, in a wide range of formats. However, having such an extensive resource can also be a major drawback, and locating information quickly and easily may require the use of a variety of search tools and techniques.
Topic Three - Hacking/Virus
A computer virus is a type of malware that, when executed, replicates by inserting copies of itself (possibly modified) into other computer programs, data files, or the boot sector of the hard drive; when this replication succeeds, the affected areas are then said to be "infected".
Topic Four - Blogs
A blog, short for weblog, is a form of online diary or journal. Much like a personal website, blogs give their author a place to air their opinions and comment on current affairs, detail their interests and hobbies, or just post random musings or rants about the world at large.
Topic Five - Searching for images safely online
Images can be an excellent teaching tool which can make it easier to teach difficult concepts, provide a stimulus for class discussion, or add visual appeal to a teacher’s presentation or pupils’ work. The internet can provide a wonderful source of images, many of them copyright free, but finding appropriate images can be a challenge.
Topic Six - Online bullying
Children and young people are keen adopters of new technologies, but this can also leave them open to the threat of increased bullying - known as online bullying, e-bullying or cyberbullying.
Topic Seven - Online music/File Sharing
You can “download”, or copy a music file on to your computer or phone via an internet or wireless network. “Uploading” is when you send a copy of a file to another computer. You may also come across terms including “peer-to-peer” “file-sharing”, “Wifi”, “social networking” or “Bluetooth”.
Topic Eight - Chatrooms
If you wish to talk to your friends and obtain an instant response, then you can go onto chatrooms that are widely avaliable over the internet. These allow you to also talk to other people who are on the site at the same time. Although chatrooms can offer a source of entertainment or help in keeping in contact with people, they can also bring e-safety issues. You do not know who are talking to!
