The VLE now has an area where you can save work to allow you to move work between school and home or to backup important work.

To access the area (called Mahara) click on the logo to the right

From there you click on My Portfolio then My Files

Accessing Folders that are on my login on school computers.

How do I access my work that is on the school computers? My login is 7212, and I need to access my BTEC P.E folder to complete some coursework. Please help. Thanks.

You need to have 'Remote Desktop Connection'. If it is Windows XP, then it's under Start > Programs > Accessories.

If you can't find it or don't have it installed, then you need to download it.

Then, you can open RDC and type in the following address:

school.kingdown.wilts.sch.uk

Then type in your username and password as usual.
