Year 7 Match Report

On monday 10th october kingdown year 7 girls played three netball matches against Matravers and clarendons A and B team.

 

In match one we played against matravers. We  started the game well with good work from emma morgan and jessica ilic playing the ball up to rebecca fry in Goal attack having the first shot of the game, scoring and taking a 1-0 lead. Kingdown continued in good form this time Jessica Ilic playing the ball upgoal attack and rebecca fry making it 2-0. The thrid goal quickly came as kingdown pushed forward giving them a comfortable lead at half time. There form continued as they scored another 3 goals making it a 6-0 win.

 

In match two we played clarendons A team. This proved to be a tougher test but kingdowns defence of Aleasha Caple and Sade Reynolds stood firm and keeping it a clean sheet. This Gave kingdown a good platform for them to go up the other end and score 4 goals before half time. The second half started and goal attack Rebecca Fry continued her good form with a further three goals making the final score 7-0.

 

In match three we played clarendon B, they showed very good team work making it hard for kingdown to make the break through, kingdown changed the team around and finally got their rewards as they continued to find they net with Constance Hunter and Sade Reynolds scores the goals. The score stayed the same until half time. Kingdown made changes once again and with more goals coming from Emma Morgan and Rebecca Fry scoring 2 goals each making the final score 6-0 to kingdown.

 

This was a very good performance from kingdown scoring many goals and conceding none. Everyone played there part from defence to attack.
